    How can I change the color of the footer text, so it’s a different color from the main site body text?

    Just white, as I changed the main body text to be black. I also wanted to add a link to a site map in the footer as well.

    Add this to the very bottom of your stylesheet:

    .copytext, #footmenu ul li a{ color#fff!important;}

    You can add new menu items from Appearance> menus

    The sitemap link addition to the footer worked — thank you!

    I pasted the code you provided to my stylesheet to change the footer color, but it isn’t working. See site: http://bit.ly/14Aiwov. Help!

    sorry, there was a typo. try this:

    .copytext, #footmenu ul li a{ color:#fff!important;}
