    I’m having trouble with my widgets page. The first about 5-6 at the top in the main list are able to be placed in the sidebar. However, any below that you can’t drag and drop. It just starts highlighting the text. Any thoughts on how to solve the problem?

      on June 26, 2012 at 7:47 pm

      1. looks like you already increased it.
      2. increase the size of the menu bar? the width? ot the height?
      3. possible in the PRO version.
      4. Add this to your stylesheet from Appearance> Editor:

      body .midrow_block h3{font-size:16px;}

      5. since the icons are images, its not possible.

    Hi! im using the LITE version right now, and I was wondering if there was some way to make slider and the logo at the top shrink with the rest of the page when looking through a landscape format on an iphone.. The slider images also go off to the left when I look through a landscape phone.. any ideas? Does the pro version accommodate for this?

      the slider image looks fine in mobile. but the logo image is cutoff. add max-width:300px to your logo img via mobile.css

    Hi Great theme questions, can i upload a favicon? I would like a image gallery , and video gallery. do i need a plugin in for it? Because when I uploaded a image and a video it just put it in a random order. I would like to purchase the pro today, do you have any video tutorials I can watch? How long dose it take to get a response from the email support?

    Hi, when I hoover over my post summer, the date of posting appears in the bottom right corner but on the left top ‘off’ shows up, what is this and how can I change this?

    • Towfiq I.
      on July 4, 2012 at 11:35 am

      its not your date box. its your comments count box. To remove it, go to Appearance> Editor and select “stylesheet” from right and add this line to the very bottom:
      .lay3 .block_comm{display:none;}

    hallo! I’m having great fun with Zenon Pro and now have it working on a proper site. Still tinkering :) I just wondered that now I look at it on my ipod touch, I only see three menu options on the top menu (on your Zenon Pro I can see everything perfectly!). I wonder what I have done to make it hidden! Anything obvious to check for?

    I am working in a sandbox right now in that I am testing some thems and Word Press out before publishing to our real website. I have Zenon now being tested and have a few questions, it currently is the free version for WordPress self hosted plans. I will more than likely have a few more questions before I buy the Pro version.

    1. I have the background setting as balck. Because of the the company name cannot be seen as it too is in black, the tag line is in a dark grey and is not that well seen either. Is there a setting to chage the colors of the header name and tag lines?

    Is there anyway to make the homepage bloks as hot links to either other pages on the website or external links? Also, can a photo be added to these blocks?

    • Towfiq I.
      on July 4, 2012 at 12:07 pm

      1. Go to Appearance> editor and select “stylesheet” from right and add this line to the very bottom:

      .logo h1 a, .desc{color:#fff;}

      2. yes its possible, from Zenon options> Blocks option, in the blocks textfield add images with links like this:

      1

      <a href="your link" rel="nofollow"><img style="height:auto" src="your image url here" /></a>
    • on July 8, 2012 at 3:48 am

      Thank you. I have not tried the 2nd part yet, but did add the logo h1 a, .desc{color:#fff;} to the end of the stylesheet. It did make the tagline white, but still cannot see the Site Title, it is still in black on the black background. I would for nor like the site Title in white, the tagline in a light grey. But really would like to have the option to change the tagline and Site Title and other copy to what ever color I would like. Does the Pro version have this?

      I do not do code! Would just like to see these options in the panel already. Also, as for links in the blocks, will try the below, but would like this option too that I can just go to the menu and make that happen without entering code at all. Again, is this in the Pro version?

      Thanks again.

    • Towfiq I.
      on July 8, 2012 at 4:58 am

      you forgot to put a dot(.) before
      logo h1 a, .desc{color:#fff;}
      it should be:
      .logo h1 a, .desc{color:#fff;}

      and yes you can do it easily from the Zenon Pro theme options. you dont need to edit the code in the PRO version. you can also add header image or logo too.
      and you will have to put it that code in your blocks text field from the back-end.

    • on July 8, 2012 at 5:26 am

      I did add the dot I just did not add it to the message to you, sorry — so still not quite there. Not sure if this will work, think you need to write these themes for the true user not for developers or as one, we need things ready made and do what we need. You should not be writing for fellow developers or code geeks, you should be writing for the marketing people and owners of businesses that put these websites together/have the design concept and most do not know code! Nice theme though for those that can do all this adding of code and editing, but the businesses and consumers want to just design, not play a developer that they can hire. Most people coming to WP themes are trying to save money from hiring developers and should be made as easy as possible to themselves or they will just hire a developer.

      Perhpas I will buy anyway just to test toe Pro version but do not want to waste money, do you have a 30 day trial or at leatst a money back offer so I can test the full version?

    • Towfiq I.
      on July 8, 2012 at 8:03 am

      The theme options has limited options for a reason. Too many options to change each and everything of the theme can make users confused. and the code that I tell people to add/change is very easy to do, you do not need a developer to add/edit template codes, because I am giving people the exact code to modify the way they want. thats the best I can do.. Each theme is downloaded more 50,000 times..and different people has different needs, its impossible to know what everyone wants in their theme options.

      and no there’s no 30 days trial options. sorry.

  • on July 5, 2012 at 5:01 pm

    Hello!

    congratulations for your excellent work, it’s a very nice theme!

    one question: it’s posiible in the pro version to change the color of the area, only from the bottom of the slide till the top of the page. I think that’s impossible in the lite version, right?

    thanks

    Hi,
    I’m experimenting with Zenon Lite, I would like to remove the widget bar on the right hand side from all the pages.

    I have deleted all the widgets, however when I go to sample page for example, see a white space where the widgets were once. Is there any way all pages can be centred, as oppose appearing left indented?

    Do I need the Pro version for this to work?

    Many thanks

      Go to Appearance> Editor and select “stylesheet” from right and add this line to the very bottom:

      Add these lines to your stylesheet:
      /*FULL WIDTH PAGE*/
      body .single_post, .error404 .single_wrap, .error404 .single_post{ width:970px;}
      body .single_skew_comm{width: 962px;}
      body .single_skew_comm .skew_top_big{width: 968px;}
      body .single_skew_comm .skew_top_right{ margin-top:-71px;}
      body .single_skew .skew_bottom_big{width: 968px;}
      body .single_skew{ width:1000px;}
      body #commentform{ width:970px;}
      body .comment-form-comment textarea{width: 570px;}
      body .comment-form-comment{width: 600px;}
      body .field_wrap{width: 340px;}
      body .comment-form-author input, body .comment-form-email input, body .comment-form-url input{width: 263px;}

      While editing the page, in the post editor page, notice there is a “Screen Options” button on the top right of the page. Click it and check the “Discussion” button. A “Discussion” box will appear under the post editor. you can disable comments for that page from that box.

    Great theme! I am about to upgrade to PRO version to put my logo in the header as well as some other things.

    Need to know the following:

    1. Can I remove the menu buttons from JUST the home page? Basically I just want a landing page with scrolling slides to click on to lead to other websites.
    2. Can I remove the “Theme by Towfiq I.” from the footer with the pro version?

    Thanks!

    • Towfiq I.
      on July 10, 2012 at 4:57 pm

      1. add this to your stylesheet:

      #menu_wrap{display:none;}

      2. there’s no “Theme by Towfiq I” text in the pro version.

  • on July 10, 2012 at 4:57 pm

    Sorry, one more question:

    1. Is it possible in the pro version to add pictures and/or links in the bottom blocks on the landing page?

    thanks!

    • Towfiq I.
      on July 10, 2012 at 5:03 pm

      you can add the images this way:

      1

      <a href="your site link" rel="nofollow"><img src="your image url" /></a>

      modify and add this above line to your blocks text field from zenon options.

      and Go to Appearance> Editor and select “stylesheet” from right and add this line to the very bottom:

      #menu_wrap{display:none;}

  • on July 10, 2012 at 4:59 pm

    Thank you! Which page in the style sheet do I add “#menu_wrap{display:none;}” to remove the menu from the landing page?

  • on July 10, 2012 at 5:16 pm

    Thank you! I have added the text to stylesheet and it is not working. Do you have an email for me to send a screenshot?

  • on July 10, 2012 at 5:17 pm

    Scratch that, it is now working. Here is the problem.

    I want to remove the menu bar ONLY on the home/landing page, but I want to KEEP it on ALL the other pages. Is this possible?

      Add this to your stylesheet to make the height of blocks bigger:

      body .midrow_blocks{height:250px;}
      body .midrow_block, body .mid_block_content{height:225px;}

      and you can wrap you images this way to make them hyperlinked:

      1

      <a href="your link here" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://media.grabbarnagrus.com/2012/07/Facebook1.jpg"></a>

      #topmenu ul li a{color#fff;}

    Also can I change the social side tags size I already altered the image size.
    I fooled with the other code and it just wouldnt show up. I will leave the re-sized png in so you can see its larger already but part of it is cut off. I rescaled width to 45 pixels and height by default went to 513 pixels.

    Is there anyway to hide the content slider number on the bottom of the slider images. I cant figure it out. Basically want the full image to fill up the slider box. With the controls style it leaves a space under the slider image.

    Temporarily I have made the font and link colors to those controls to white, but there is a gap because I cant remove the controls or it will display javascript control number in place of it. Hope im making sense

  • on July 19, 2012 at 6:02 pm

    I am suddenly unable to upload images to add to the slider or posts. Also, the slider is now only showing one slide instead of rotating between the two published slides as it has been.

    Hi its me again, I was just playing around with the html codes for the drop down menus and comparing the codes to some of the drop down menus that were displaying properly on the websites and they are the same the only difference that I noticed that the ones that were displaying properly where around 1,500 lines of coding and the ones that were not displaying properly had over 2,500 lines of coding, so that’s that mean that wordpress sets a limited space??? Is there a way i can add more space so i can entered more lines of html coding?? any suggestions would be graetly appreciated, thank you!

      you cannot just add html menu to wordpress template and make it work. you will have to add wordpress menu template tag. please send me the code you are trying to add via:
      http://www.towfiqi.com/contact

      and let me know how you are adding it and where.
