I would like to set up my home page to be the front page. When I’m changing the Reading Settings for home page to be the front page, then the block items disappear.
You cannot set a custom page to your homepage and have the blocks show up on homepage. You will need to set the homepage to “Your latest posts” from Settings> Reading.
