    hello!

    is there a way I can put the frontpage posts on a single page?

    thank you!

    you can create a new category and mark all the posts that are no frontpage, with that category and then just link the category to your menu.

    Question to Carol. Are you working with a child theme? I’m asking because after switching from Asteria to to Asteria’s child theme my css is not loading and you seem to work a lot on your theme so I was wondering how?:)

    Matt you could just use the “Recent Posts” widget on Footer widget area.

    matt

    I am not sure what you mean by that Towfiq? Could you explain?

    Thanks!

    matt

    and just to clarify – i want the posts to be displayed in the same way as they are on the front page, not just a simple list, if possible – thanks!

    do you want this for all the pages? or just on one page?

    #133355

    matt

    just certain pages. or if you could provide code for all pages then show me how to hide them on certain pages that would be fine too!

    you want the latest posts to display after the page content right? before the footer widget?

    Download this file:
    Link removed. see below

    and then upload it to your theme folder. Now while editing a page, you should be able to see a “page with Recent Posts” template. you can use this page template on any pages you like.

    i downloaded and tried this one myself but it doesn’t seem to appear anything when i change template.
    maybe because i am using pages instead of posts? do i need to change something in the code?

    thank you!

    do i need to change something in my code to show pages instead of posts?
    i already did it on functions.php just like you told me before. but i think i need to change this one too.

    open up the file and replace this:

    'post_type' => 'post',

    with:

    'post_type' => 'page',
