Go to Appearance> Editor and select “Stylesheet” from right and add this line to the very bottom:

#sidebar .widgets ul li a, #single_posts .post_mid, #sidebar .widgets, #sidebar .widgets, #latest_posts .post_mid, #latest_posts .post_meta a, #latest_posts_full .post_mid, #latest_posts_full .post_meta a, #single_posts .post_meta a, .amp_page, .amp_next, .amp_prev, .footage ul li, .footage ul li a, .copy_content, .copy_content a, #footmenu, #footmenu ul li a, #comment, #single_posts #related a{color:#333!important;}
2. Where is the Summary Field of the slider? Why don’t I see it?

A: In wordpress 3.1 the custom field option is disabled on default. To enable the custom field feature go to Posts > Add New . In the post editor page at the very top click on the “Screen Options” button. Now make sure “Custom Field” option is checked.

Check this screenshot:

  • Hey this is awesome, cant get the portfolio page to work. Have created posts with an image each, category ‘portfolio’. Page created with ‘portfolio’ page. the posts appear but the images dont, just a blank image box with question mark. when I set up another way the images are fine. Can you help?
    Cheers Kat

  • I think there’s something wrong about post’s thumb img in the homepage. Somnetimes the thumb is correct, but often the small img is taken fron other post…

    • Try this version:

    • if the zip below is the same as the above i’ve alreary tried it.
      It seems that once inserted an image into a post and this post appears on the homepage (both in four blocks nor in the individual pieces below), if you change the image in the post, on the homepage the pic is still the previous one, or it disappears and you can not put a ‘other, even if the content of the post actually is.

  • i can’t add the Slider Sub-text Notice because the summary field doesn’t below the Post editor.

    I clicked on the post’s update button, as you recommend in the Documentation, and the field still not appears. Please help me!!!

    • You have to click two update button after putting you text in the summary field. One with the “summary” field and another in the top of the page.
